Pictures of the upcoming game Anteworld (Outerra engine). The Outerra engine is a really amazing planetary render engine. And Anteworld will be the first game with the Outerra engine. Which is currently in development by the creators of the engine. For more information please visit the official homepage.

A limited demo version is available for testing. You can also spend 15$ and you will recieve a enhanced test version with a Cessna airplane an Apache Helicopter and a model importer to import and test your own Addons. I think the Outerra engine is very powerful and I'm looking forward to the development process.

Lockheed Martin releases some new informations and preview pictures about the progress of Prepar3d v2 development. V2 comes with weather condition and wind speed based 3d waves. And the main feature is the updated rendering engine from DirectX9 to DirectX11.

Hey Guys,

Well slighly off topic but I've done it!

As you guys know I'm sailing on P&O's Azura this around the Canary Islands which will be my first cruise.

Now......

I've booked my second cruise for next year and will be a once in a lifetime event. Next year Royal Caribbeans Oasis of the Seas is visiting Europe & Southampton for the first time and only time. First she will sail from Florida to Barcelona to offer cruises around the Med before heading up to Rotterdam.

IT is likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. That’s the message from the UK’s head of cruise company Royal Caribbean following news that the world’s largest cruise ship is to visit Southampton next year.

Oasis of the Seas will arrive in the Hampshire port on October 14, making her not only the largest cruise ship ever to visit the port, but a whopping 40 per cent larger than anything that has gone before.

Oasis arrives in the UK after carrying out a number of short cruises out of Barcelona. She will leave Southampton to sail straight back to the US, taking British passengers among the 6,400 she can accommodate.

“Oasis is to go to Rotterdam’s dry docks as part of her five-year life cycle maintenance programme and that has given us the opportunity to showcase her in European waters. We’re delighted we can do this, but there are no plans as yet for any other visits.”

Today we are flying on Flight:018 Departing Manchester at 13:20 GMT and our ETA into Dubai is 12:15am Local.

To save the hassel of rushing on the day of departure I decided to fly over the day before and Enjoy a day in Southampton before the Cruise.

Once I checked in at the Hotel I decided to head to Town Quay to watch Arcadia depart.

Day 1:

On the day of departure to save us more hassel the hotel provieds a taxi/bus to the Cruise terminal.

Enroute to the terminal we can see the ship docked at Ocean Terminal

Things got pretty busy from here so on to departure!

Seeing as all cruise ships tend to leave port at around 16:30, it was quite busy at the time as there were three ships leaving: Oriana, Azura (our Ship) & Celebrity Eclipse

Red Jet 6 also sailed pasted us enroute to Southampton fom the Isle of White

Day 2:

Today we are sailing through the great Bay of Biscay

The Celebrity Eclipse just on the horizon ahead of us after passing in the night. She's enroute to the Azores before sailing to Madeira

The SS United Queen also sailed past us later in the day while enroute to Dover
