At around 3pm that afternoon the coach dropped us off at the city centre to let us explore.

(Picture soon)

At 6pm after enjoying dinner out we headed back to the ship to get ready for tonights deck party. In the background you can see the Seabourn Legend departing to Las Palmas.

fsscr014i.jpg

Also still alongside the ship is a fuel bunker, The ship required more fuel on this voyage as the captain mentioned, he had to run her engines on full for most of the first night & day in order to keep up to schedule in the Bay of Biscay due to strong winds annd large waves.

fsscr017.jpg

A View from the ships Planet Bar. Each side of the bar extends over this side of the ship to give this fantastic view. Will post a day shot later on in the cruise.

Thanks Marko!

I mainly got this Virtual Cruise topic idea from the Flight Sim forums! Here's a topic I created while I was flying for Flyuk: http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/topic/199464-skyways-flight-022/

Day 8: Lanzarote contiued.

We decided to spend most of the day at a nearby beach a few miles up the coast from the port. With only a light westerly breeze and hardly any clouds the temperature topped 30c!

fsscr007.jpg

We headed back to the ship at around 3.30pm

fsscr010nj.jpg

While droping our bags and goods off at our cabin the Astoria was seen departing or Tenerife

fsscr011g.jpg

Coaches returning from their excursions as the ship is preparing for departure

fsscr012n.jpg

Leaving the warm Canaries sun.

fsscr014v.jpg

Tomrrow is a sea day will give us time to reboost our strength! Then on Tuesday is our final port of call Lisbon.

And there you have it!

I hope you have enjoyed this Virtual Cruise aboard Azura. If you have a favorite part let me know what it is!

Also if you do like it then I  may do a shorter Virtual trip in the future. I do have an idea for one: A high-speed crossing from Guernsey to Jersey on Condor Express.

Thanks for watching and cruising!
